A Surprisingly Good Time
What did i do this weekend? I know you are all asking this yourselves, giddy with anticipation... eager to find out what nathan got up to this weekend... well i will tell you. I went and played some curling! Its an annual thing for the employees of BJ Services to do and so i got in on the action ... not the BJ Service action, i do that five days a week(how long can i keep the joke going?) but the curling action. Oh and it was INTENSE. My team, known as "Milks Gone Bad" showed up fashionably late... we had to stop for Bailies and coffee (not coffee and bailies.. that would imply more coffee than booze, and that just wasnt the case)... got no warm up, time and still managed to pull out a 9-1 victory over the course of the four end match. Following our round one victory, Milks Gone Bad went and had a victory jug of beer before we went and beat our second opponent 5-3. Even more pleased with ourselves we all agreed that another round of beers was in order. Then came the gold medal match that we squeaked out a 3-2 win ... phew too close for comfort and our nerves were a little shaky.... better have another beer or two. Curling is such an easy sport to make fun of, but is so fun to play especially when you win and even more so when your half licked.

First of all, the BJ services jokes will never get old. Secondly, I didn't know they would let you curl without being half licked, I can't imagine playing it stone cold sober.

Question: Do your fellow employees still get a laugh out of the BJ services name? Are there office jokes as well?
yeah we all joke about it, and how we're all lucky that we get chairs to sit while we work. Even some of the managers get in on the fun and point out that they have the biggest desks with the biggest space undernieth. All in all we know the name of our company is a laugh fest, so we make the most of it.
